FAMILIAR FRUIT FIGHTERS PART 4 – ANTI AGING FRUITS



One of those delicious and miraculous ways to stop the aging clock is to eat fruit! Certain fruits contain high antioxidant properties that can keep our skin feeling firm, clear and young.

Check out the FAMILIAR FRUIT FIGHTERS of age, which will minimize the wrinkles, discoloration and other signs of aging skin.
1. Pomegranate - Pomegranate is rich in potassium and provides considerable amounts of magnesium, phosphorus, and iron. It contains vitamin C, B1, B2, and niacin. A great source of polyphenols and all the above vitamins and minerals, which will promote beautiful skin by increasing its collagen, elastin etc... Collagen and elastin gives the skin its firmness and elasticity respectively. The fruit extracts enhance the functioning of dermal cells to a great extent. They stand out due to their antioxidant strength, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Its antioxidant components reduce oxidative stress on the body.
2. Avocado - Avocado is rich in Vitamin E and the B-complex vitamins, both wonderfully nourishing for your skin while the potassium it contains help keep it moisturized and hydrated. It also contains a compound called glutathione, which assists in the anti-aging process. The presence of oleic acid can add as an  antioxidant when trying to prevent cancer.  
 
3. Kiwi - The strong antioxidant compounds in this little green fruit firm the skin and delay the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. This is mostly due to their high Vitamin C and E content which help reduce skin damage due to free radicals.
4. Mangosteen - Mangosteen is a rich source of antioxidants like catechin, which again will help fight skin cell damage from free radicals while its high levels of Vitamin C will promote skin that is smooth and glowing. The compound xanthones present in mangosteen fruit, provide a wholesome nutritional value to your body.
5. Papaya - Whether eaten or used topically, papaya can work wonders on your skin. It is a natural complexion toner and fights the formation of wrinkles while its Vitamins A, C and E will nourish the skin. Just applying the flesh of papaya on your skin can do wonders to your skin. Papaya helps in attaining a good complexion and an anti-wrinkle skin. Promotion of renewal of skin, an increase in cells and an exfoliation takes place due to the papain enzyme.
6. Banana - Youthful elasticity and coherence of the skin will be greatly helped by the high levels of Vitamin C and B-6, while its manganese and antioxidant contents prevent premature aging. It is also a wonderful natural moisturizer for the skin if applied topically. They help in shielding the skin from destruction and provide hydration.
7. Watermelon - Due to its high content of the essential antioxidant, vitamins such as vitamins A, vitamin B, and vitamin C. 8. Berries - Berries have some of the highest concentrations of antioxidants out of any fruit and this, along with their high levels of Vitamin C, help maintain the collagen that keeps your skin looking firm and wrinkle-free. Right from strawberries, blackberries and blueberries to acai berry, the entire family of berries is a rich source of the important plant nutrient, flavonoids. These flavonoids possess anti-aging and anti-cancer effects. Berries also contain antioxidants that promote cell health and protect against diseases.
9. Grapes - Grapes are a rich source of both manganese and Vitamin C. Together, these compounds can prevent damage due to ultraviolet radiation while their antioxidant properties fight against the aging process. Grapes are rich in resveratrol which has anti-inflammatory and anticoagulatory properties that help in the repair of tissue cells.
